HUGE Announcements!

Finally finally finally!!! The new Cellular Signal album is just about here! Northwest is being released on Aug. 17th, 2024 (my birthday, BTW). There will be two versions: the "regular" version which will be available on streaming, and the "deluxe" edition which will be available exclusively on BandCamp for purchase. The regular version will have 12 tracks, the deluxe 18. The deluxe version will include early/alternative mixes of the songs - some of it's interesting, some of it's dumb, but they're included for completion's sake and to show how the production progressed as time went on.

Here is the final track listing:

  1. They Tower Above Us

  2. Chunk

  3. Jacob's Dream

  4. And I Go

  5. The Realization (Prelude)

  6. The Realization

  7. Dance to the Jet Stream

  8. Wishing Well

  9. I Can't Even

  10. The First Time

  11. Please Don't Go

  12. Northwest

  13. They Tower Above Us (ShaYne's Instrumental Version) [Deluxe Only]

  14. Jacob's Dream (Unfinished Sketch) [Deluxe Only]

  15. The Realization (ShaYne's Original Version) [Deluxe Only]

  16. Dance to the Jet Stream (Early Instrumental Version) [Deluxe Only]

  17. Wishing Well (Extended Bridge Version) [Deluxe Only]

  18. Please Don't Go (Short Version) [Deluxe Only]

Note: Some of the deluxe tracks have already been included in previous releases, but others are included only here. :)

I am so thrilled to be able to release this long-awaited album at last. I guess you can say I've been working on it for four years at least, and seven years if you count the original version of They Tower Above Us, first released in 2017. It's definitely the most complex set of music I've ever created -- a result of countless hours of blood, sweat, tears, I had to move two states away just to get the ball rolling on it for real, spent thousands of dollars on equipment that I'll never make back from the (lack of) music sales, had to re-record the vocals on Northwest (track 12) because I was still recovering from bronchitis -- TMI at this point?

All right, enough of me blabbing away. Here is a video preview of all the tracks for you to watch. Get in, get excited, and don't forget to mark your calendar for August 17th so you can be ready to stream it from Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music, etc. the day it comes out!

Enjoy. - Shayne
