Surprise! New album release!

New 2025 cover art for The Opposite Way (2003)!

ShaYne's obscure 2003 debut album has now been officially remastered in 2025 and re-released to all major streaming platforms! This was previously under the artist name "Shayne White" and was not grouped with my other albums. Furthermore, it was not available on BandCamp or Tidal - but now it is!

As of this writing, it's not yet available on Spotify or Apple Music, but it will be over the next few days and I will update the links on the ShaYne music page when it is. After that, the original 2003 album will be decommissioned and only this version will be available.

ShaYne/Cellular Signal's very first album, released originally in 2003, has now been remastered from the original 24-bit files and officially re-released! A combination of new age, electronic, dance, jazz, Celtic, and other styles, The Opposite Way explores a variety of synthesizer tones and melodies. An entirely instrumental album that nevertheless set the way for all of ShaYne's later music, it is certain to captivate you through a listening journey. All the more impressive given that the artist was not even yet eighteen years of age at the time of its original release!

-24-bit song downloads with enhanced sonic quality

-Brand-new cover art inspired by the original "electric power" cover

-The long 30-minute track "Silver Waterfall" has been split into its separate four movements for better listener access.

-Bonus track: Island Oasis 2, a dance remix of Island Oasis composed when Shayne was only 15 years old, has never been previously released but is now included!

-Composed, performed, and engineered by Shayne Trevor White in Santa Rosa, CA, USA during 1998-2002.

-Additional audio mixing and mastering by Jared White.

-Leading Direction, Island Oasis, and Silver Waterfall also co-composed and produced by Jared White.

-Celtic harp on Waterdome Grove by Shayne Trevor White.

-Baroque recorder on Waterdome Grove by Jared White.
